The Payroll Agency is partnering with a reputable organisation looking for aSenior Payroll Officerto take full ownership of the end-to-end payroll process and play a key role in managingworkers compensation and related compliance.
In this role, you'll be the go-to for all things payroll — from processing and reconciliations through to reporting, queries, and audits.
You'll also oversee workers compensation claims, return-to-work coordination, and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage theend-to-end payroll processfor a diverse employee base
Prepare and lodgesuperannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax
Handleworkers compensation claimsand liaise with insurers
Supportreturn-to-work processesand maintain compliance documentation
Provide timely, professional support to employees and stakeholders
Assist with audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
About You:
Proven experience inend-to-end payroll(ideally mid–large workforce)




Sound understanding ofworkers compensationprocesses and legislation
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
A proactive, approachable team player who enjoys accountability

Wollongong based however, only required to be in office 1 x a week and very flexible
