About the Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) Unit
A Place for compassionate care: The GEM Unit offers specialised care of older people, with a focus on comprehensive interdisciplinary assessment and management of medical, physical, psychological and social issues associated with the ageing process.
Our unit is located at St Georges Hospital in the Kew.
Our nursing team is pivotal to the success of the broader, high performing interdisciplinary team, achieving ambitious outcomes while supporting the flow of patients throughout the broader organisation.
We are a vital part of SVHM's Subacute & Community Services, a key clinical program of SVHM and the broader St Vincent's Health Australia (SVHA) Public Hospital division.

About You
Empathy and Expertise
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Enrolled Nurses with a background in sub-acute or acute care.
Your unwavering commitment to a person-centred approach to care will empower patients to achieve their health goals and enhance their overall well-being.
Demonstrating collaborative care, a positive work attitude and excellence in practice, you will thrive on the unique and varied needs of our patient cohort, striving to provide the highest standard of care.
Qualification and Commitment
In addition to your experience, you will have:
Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
A passion and dedication to providing exceptional care to older persons
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and engage with all members of the interdisciplinary team
Previous clinical experience is desirable
