All Hallows' School, a Catholic Mercy school for girls fromYears 5–12, seeks to appoint a Performing Arts Tutor – Flute tojoin our Community.
The Performing Arts Tutor plays a vital role in inspiring andnurturing students' artistic growth.
Drawing on specialistexpertise and qualified experience, the successful candidatewill create engaging and challenging learning experiences thatfoster skill development, confidence, and a lifelong appreciationfor the performing arts.
This is a casual contract position, commencing on Tuesday, 6October **** and finishing on Friday, 18 June ****.
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining a professional and respectful relationship with students, parents, and colleagues at all times.
Providing Performing arts lessons to students, applyingspecialist professional knowledge and techniques acquiredthrough formal qualifications (e.g. AMEB, Trinity CollegeLondon, diploma or bachelor degree) and/or relevantexperience.
Delivering a stimulating, challenging, and balanced programof study tailored to each student's goals, skill level, anddevelopmental needs.
Developing lesson plans and objectives to support studentprogress and achievement in performance, examinations, andpersonal development.
Providing professional advice and technical expertise inimplementing a high-quality performing arts program.
Ensuring all duties are performed in accordance withrelevant statutory, regulatory, and school policyframeworks.
Role Requirements
Hold and maintain a current Queensland Working withChildren Clearance (Blue Card).
Have approval to work in Australia.
Have or maintain the appropriate clearances, qualificationsor registrations required to perform the inherent functions ofthe role.
A commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic educationin the Mercy tradition.
Formal qualifications such as AMEB, Trinity College London,diploma or bachelor degree and/or relevant experience.
