Vice President - Sector and Specialised Lending Transaction Management
ING, Australia's most recommended bank is seeking a Sector and Specialised Lending VP for our Sydney based Wholesale Bank team.
In this role, you will be responsible for working with key clients in Telecommunications & Healthcare, Real Estate, Energy, Infrastructure as part of the wider Sector Lending team.
Experience in these sectors and Project Finance will be advantageous.
ING Australia's Wholesale Banking team is in growth mode, and we are looking for a talented, analytical and articulate team player.
This is a role where your expertise will have a meaningful impact, driving success for our clients and supporting our growth.
Scope and variety in this role includes playing a pivotal role in credit analysis, financial modelling, credit applications, execution and transaction management.
What you'll do
Supporting origination with corporate clients including Large Australian corporations and the Australian subsidiaries of ING's clients based in Asia, Europe or the US
Prepare credit proposals and manage the credit approval process for lending, project finance, trade finance and financial market limits
Responsible for the negotiation of loan documentation and trade finance documentation with clients, in close collaboration with the coverage team, Risk and Legal
Ensure appropriate portfolio management through monitoring of the performance of companies in the portfolio, including identifying Early Warning Signals for a deterioration in credit quality and performing annual reviews
Support the coverage team(s) in the deal structuring, origination and business development of lending products




Develop creative and effective lending solutions for Corporate Clients and effectively communicate it.
Implement our sustainability goals and active balance sheet management.
What we're looking for
8 years' + relevant deal- support/making and credit analysis experience in the banking industry
Industry specialism within Telecommunications & Healthcare, Real Estate, Energy, Infrastructure
University degree major in business/economics, law or relevant business discipline
Experience in the syndicated loan market as well as executing club deals and bilateral transactions.
Strong analytical skills (financial/credit)
An eye for detail
Strong client focus and proven ability in stakeholder management (both internally and externally)
Strong negotiating, relationship management and sales skills.
Valuable presentation skills
