Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead testing and commissioning across a diverse portfolio of transmission & distribution, renewables, and transport projects. Reporting to the Head of Construction & Maintenance, you'll sit on the leadership team, own the commissioning strategy and delivery, and lead a team through every stage of project execution.

What You'll Do

Lead and develop the commissioning team to meet project engineering, commissioning, and handover requirements
n
Own the commissioning delivery framework, quality documentation (ITPs/ITCs), and secure work practices
n
Act as the key point of contact for commissioning programs, budgets, risk mitigation, and status reporting
n
Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders, including AEMO approval processes
n
Provide subject-matter expertise to Project Managers and Engineering Managers, and resolve issues as they arise
n
Support tenders and bids with
technical/commercial
input, and help identify new market opportunities
n

About You
n




n
Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
n
10+ years' engineering, protection, and commissioning experience across generation, renewables, transmission, and distribution
n
Hands-on experience commissioning primary/secondary electrical equipment, SCADA, and communications systems
n
Strong working knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
n
Previous experience leading a commissioning or technical team within a multi-functional leadership environment
n
Excellent stakeholder management, commercial acumen, and problem-solving skills, with a genuine commitment to HSEQ
n
