$37.50/hr + Penalties
Monday Friday | Optional Saturdays

WorkPac is currently seeking a Workshop Assistant to join a leading heavy industrial workshop in Singleton . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with workshop or manufacturing experience looking to secure ongoing work in a supportive team environment.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Workshop Assistant, you will provide hands‑on support to qualified tradespeople repairing and overhauling heavy‑duty radiators and cooling components used throughout the mining and heavy industrial sectors.

Your duties will include:
Assisting Radiator Repairers and Fitters with workshop activities.
Disassembling and preparing components for inspection.
Cleaning, washing and preparing radiators and cooling equipment.
Assisting with general workshop duties and material handling.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work workplace.

What You Will Need
Previous workshop, manufacturing, mechanical or heavy industrial experience.
Experience assisting trades or working in a hands‑on workshop setting.
Robust commitment to workplace safety.




Ability to perform physically demanding work.

Desirable:
LF Forklift Licence.
