Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Carpenter to join our growing property maintenance team.
n
This isn't a role where you'll be stuck on the same construction site for months at a time. You'll be working across a variety of residential properties, attending maintenance jobs, diagnosing issues and completing quality repairs for our clients.
n
We need someone who is reliable, organised, confident working independently and takes genuine pride in their workmanship.
n
The Role
n
As a Maintenance Carpenter, your day-to-day work will include:
n
n
General carpentry repairs and maintenance
n
Door, jamb, lock and hardware
repairs/replacements
n
Timber repairs and replacement
n
Decking, stairs, handrails and external timber repairs
n
Skirting boards, architraves and internal carpentry
n
Wall, ceiling and minor plaster repairs
n
Cabinetry and general property repairs
n
Minor building and maintenance works
n
Investigating maintenance issues and identifying the best repair solution
n
Taking clear photos and providing accurate job information
n
Communicating professionally with tenants, property managers and our office team
n
Identifying additional works required while onsite
n
Keeping your vehicle, tools and work areas organised and presentable
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Qualified Carpenter or strong demonstrated carpentry experience
n
Experience in property maintenance, renovations or reactive repairs
n
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
n
Confidence working independently
n
High standard of workmanship
n
Good communication and customer service skills
n
Ability to manage multiple jobs throughout the day
n




Good time management and organisation
n
Current Victorian driver licence
n
Own hand tools
n
A professional and positive attitude
n
n
Experience working in rental properties, real estate maintenance, insurance repairs or facilities maintenance will be highly regarded.
