An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to join a highly respected engineering consultancy delivering some of Australia's most complex and technically challenging building projects.
This role is ideal for someone looking to step into a senior technical position where they can lead projects, mentor engineers and work alongside a multidisciplinary team across a diverse portfolio of developments.
The Opportunity You'll play a key role in the delivery of fire protection solutions across a range of major building services projects, taking ownership from concept design through to construction support.
This is a genuine opportunity to influence project outcomes, build client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of an established fire engineering team.
Responsibilities Lead the design and delivery of wet and dry fire protection systems across a variety of building projects.
Ensure designs comply with the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards and relevant authority requirements.
Coordinate closely with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and structural disciplines.
Produce and review high-quality technical documentation and specifications.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
Support project delivery,



technical reviews and business development activities where required.
About You Sufficient experience in Fire Protection Engineering within a Building Services consultancy environment.
Professional Engineer (PE) accreditation is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC and fire protection design principles.
Demonstrated experience delivering complex commercial, healthcare, education, residential, defence or infrastructure projects.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Confident leading projects while mentoring and developing junior engineers.
A collaborative approach with a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
