This is an excellent prospect for an Employment, Industrial Relations Safety lawyer to join a top-tier law firm and become part of a highly regarded Brisbane practice.
You'll work closely with experienced Partners on complex advisory and contentious matters for major corporate and government clients.
The practice spans employment, industrial relations, litigation and workplace safety, including matters that are significant, sensitive and business-critical for clients.
The structure of the team means you'll work with a number of different Partners across a variety of matters rather than being tied to one particular stream of work.
You'll have the opportunity to broaden your experience, take on increasing responsibility and develop areas of specialisation that align with your interests.
What You'll Be Working On Employment and industrial relations disputes and litigation; Strategic employment and workplace relations advice; Enterprise bargaining and industrial disputes; Advocacy in courts and tribunals; Discrimination and workplace claims; Workplace investigations; Large underpayment and employment compliance reviews; Regulatory investigations and matters; Work health and safety compliance and risk management; Safety incident response, investigations and prosecutions; Restructuring and workforce matters; and Employment aspects of major corporate transactions.
At Associate or Senior Associate level, you'll take a leading role on matters, deal directly with clients and manage work with a good level of autonomy.
There will also be opportunities to supervise and mentor junior lawyers and contribute to business development and client initiatives.
About You We're interested in speaking with lawyers who have: Experience in employment, industrial relations and/or workplace safety; Ideally, experience gained within a large,



national or international law firm; A combination of private practice and in-house experience will also be considered; The ability to manage matters with a good level of autonomy; Strong drafting, communication and client relationship skills; The ability to supervise and support junior lawyers; and An interest in business development and growing within the practice.
You don't need to have experience across every aspect of employment, industrial relations and safety.
Lawyers with a strong background in one or more of these areas who are looking to broaden their experience are encouraged to apply.
