Duties and Responsibilities: Operate heavy and multi-combination vehicles to collect and deliver freight across metropolitan, regional and interstate routes.
Complete long-distance journeys, including eastbound services and travel to regional or remote locations.
Check manifests, delivery instructions and route schedules and complete deliveries within the required timeframes.
Conduct pre-start and end-of-trip inspections and promptly report vehicle faults, damage and safety concerns.
Assist with or supervise the loading and unloading of consignments involving single or multiple delivery points.
Position, balance and secure cargo using approved straps, chains and load-restraint equipment.
Maintain contact with dispatch staff regarding progress, delays, route changes and customer instructions.
Complete work diaries, run sheets, proof-of-delivery records and vehicle inspection reports accurately.
Use navigation, communication and tracking systems to follow routes and update delivery information.
Comply with driving-hour, fatigue-management, road-safety, load-restraint and chain-of-responsibility requirements.
Report accidents, cargo damage, delivery discrepancies and other incidents and follow company procedures.
Keep vehicles and equipment clean and roadworthy, perform authorised basic checks and provide professional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain an asset register for prime movers, heavy vehicles, trailers and freight-handling equipment.
Record registrations, service histories, inspection dates, kilometres travelled, warranties and reported defects.
Develop preventive maintenance programs based on vehicle usage, manufacturer guidance and roadworthiness requirements.
Prepare servicing and repair schedules that maintain fleet availability and minimise operational disruption.
Raise work orders and arrange the labour, parts, contractors and facilities needed for maintenance tasks.
Review driver defect reports and prioritise repairs according to safety, compliance and operational urgency.
Coordinate with drivers, dispatch staff and management to release vehicles for servicing and return them promptly.
Monitor commonly used parts and service materials and arrange replenishment when required.

Duties and Responsibilities: Manage metropolitan, WA regional and interstate operations, including door-to-door and express freight deliveries.
Prepare schedules based on freight volumes, priorities, customer timeframes and available drivers and vehicles.
Allocate suitable drivers, prime movers and trailers according to each consignment's size, weight, destination and urgency.
Track vehicle movements and delivery progress using transport-management, communication and tracking systems.
