Our client is seeking to add a Sales Representative (Industrial Products) to develop customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, provide technical product guidance and support the continued growth of its specialist filtration operations.
The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing industrial customers across assigned markets and territories.
• Identify prospective customers and pursue new business opportunities within relevant industrial sectors.
• Visit customer sites to assess requirements and identify suitable filtration products and solutions.
• Provide technical product advice and explain filtration solutions to customers and prospective clients.
• Monitor customer requirements, competitor activity and changing market conditions within assigned industry sectors.
• Conduct technical discussions and presentations with customers, end users, distributors and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and technical teams to deliver customised filtration products and customer solutions.
• Follow up customer enquiries,



quotations and sales opportunities through to completion and order confirmation.
• Arrange and coordinate product delivery, technical support and associated services for customer orders.
• Provide after-sales support and assist customers with product performance or service-related enquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales activity, opportunities, quotations and commercial outcomes.
• Report sales performance, customer feedback and market developments to management on a regular basis.
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role: • Bachelor degree or higher qualification in engineering, business, commerce or another relevant technical or commercial discipline.
• Minimum 12 months relevant experience in industrial, technical or business-to-business sales within a comparable commercial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate industrial products, technical solutions or related services.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship management skills when dealing with industrial customers and other commercial stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage customer accounts and develop recent business opportunities across an assigned sales territory.
• Current driver's licence and willingness to undertake regular regional and interstate travel, including travel to customers throughout NSW, SA and TAS.
• Professional, customer-focused approach with strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain accurate sales and activity records.
