Casual Disability Support work available in Ultimo area, with the opportunity for work. Provide day to day care for participants whilst we support you to build your career in Disability Support.

About the role

Provide day to day care for participants, including;
Personal care whist ensuring privacy and personal choices are upheld
Community access and transporting
Providing active support to residents based on their goals
Medication administration
Liaison with families
Medical and other allied health appointments
Documentation
Teamwork

Key Responsibilities
Follow person-centred support plans and behaviour support plans respectfully
Participate in community activities and encourage clients to perform daily living tasks
Track and document an individual’s progress through thorough record-keeping
Build and maintain positive relationships with our clients and their families

Skills & Experience
Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates as per NDIS requirements
A current unrestricted Driver Licence
A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals of people with disabilities




The ability to develop a positive relationship with service users and to support their Individual Personal Plan
Cert IV Disability highly regarded.

Mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations may be required for this position, in accordance with relevant Public Health Orders across all States and Territories. In these circumstances, evidence of vaccination will be required prior to an offer of employment.

In order to be compliant successful candidates will be required to transparent probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check
