Job Description
We are seeking occupational therapists, exercise physiologists or physiotherapists who are interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Liverpool, NSW.
In this flexible role you have autonomy to manage your own day and receive support from a strong, close-knit team and a global corporate infrastructure.
You will deliver occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of physical and psychological conditions, helping them return to health and work.
Responsibilities
Manage case load with support from Rehabilitation Assistants to reduce administrative tasks
Apply clinical knowledge to improve return‐to‐work outcomes
Work with employers and employees to develop and deliver injury prevention and workplace education programmes
Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
Engage across schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veterans Affairs and employer‐funded injury prevention programmes
Assist workers in achieving return‐to‐health and return‐to‐work outcomes
Conduct assessments (initial, workplace, vocational) to review diagnoses, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers with workplace injuries or motor vehicle accidents
Qualifications
Graduate level qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy; registration with AHPRA or ESSA accreditation
Previous experience in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry is highly regarded
Excellent communication skills for engaging clients and stakeholders
Compassion and empathy, with strong time‐management skills
Current NSW driver's licence and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
