We are a wholesale bakery and catering service supplying cafes and restaurants in Darwin and we are looking for a hardworking and passionate cook to join our team. To be successful in this role the applicant will need

· Solid organisation and problem solving skills.

· The ability to work independently + alongside co-workers.

· Be mature minded.

· Outstanding attention to detail and a passion for consistency.

· Ability to comply with health and safety procedures.

Find the below duties of the position
Quality and stock control of the food
regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
preparing and cooking food
seasoning food during cooking
portioning food, placing it on plates and in catering containers
storing food in temperature controlled facilities
preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
may plan menus and estimate food requirements
may train other kitchen staff and apprentices

This position is a full time and for the long term.
