We are seeking an Electrical Designer with 3-5 years of experience to join our Brisbane team.
Working alongside experienced engineers and designers, you will contribute to the delivery of a diverse range of mining, resources, and industrial projects, from concept studies through to detailed design.
This role offers the opportunity to further develop your technical design capability, work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and take increasing ownership of design deliverables as your career progresses.
Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed electrical design drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
Develop single line diagrams, schematics, cable schedules, equipment layouts, installation details, terminations and drawing packages in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
Work closely with engineers, designers, and project teams to deliver accurate and high-quality design documentation.
Assist in the development and maintenance of design deliverables through all project phases.




Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with project standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, templates, and drafting standards within the Electrical team.
Skills Experience 3-5 years' experience as an Electrical Designer, preferably within mining, resources, infrastructure, energy, or heavy industrial environments.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, with exposure to Autodesk products, or other relevant design software highly regarded.
Experience preparing electrical design documentation, including layouts, schematics, cable schedules, and installation drawings.
Sound understanding of electrical design principles, drafting standards, and project delivery requirements.
Ability to interpret engineering calculations, specifications, and technical documentation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams.
A proactive approach to learning, problem-solving, and continuous professional development.
