A well-established cafe/restaurant located in Melville is presently looking for two permanent full time Cooks to commence work immediately.

Duties of the role include the following:
Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking
Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking
Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgement and experience
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgement, using various kitchen utensils
Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food to waiters or patrons
Regulate temperature of oven, grills and roasters
Coordinate and supervise junior kitchen hand staff
Follow FIFO storing methods to minimise wastage
Ensure cleanliness of kitchen to keep hygiene of foods produced
Report any incidents occurred to the director within 24 hours

Formal qualifications in cookery and two years' experience in western cuisine is required for the role.

Salary would be between $75,000 - $80,000 depending on experience.
