Enemix is closely supporting a rapidly growing EPC/Advisory organisation in New South Wales, with projects across Australia with their search for a Project Director.

This is a genuine opportunity for an experienced project director to join an established EPC contractor and help build out its NSW/Australia Wide business unit. You'll take full ownership of projects from bid phase through to leading site-based delivery and handover, with the autonomy to seriously shape outcomes for a growing business.

With decades of proven delivery experience and a growing focus on HV, Solar and BESS infrastructure, senior leaders are genuinely engaged day to day, giving you real influence over how projects and the business unit develop.

What you'll do:

Lead the strategic development of project tenders, owning the methodology, staging, and technical/delivery solutions for Solar and BESS projects
n
Work closely with the team to ensure estimates and work programs are robust, competitive, and account for the specific logistical demands of utility-scale renewable builds
n




Take command of project financial performance through cost control and strong contract administration, including forecasting and management of variations and claims
n
Move seamlessly from bid and tender to site delivery, acting as the ultimate authority for on-site project execution
n
Navigate the practical realities of regional delivery, including mobilisation, local supply chain management, and remote logistics
n
Own site-wide WHS compliance and risk management, and mentor a high-performing project team
n
n
What you'll bring:
n
n
10+ years in construction, with demonstrated long term experience leading large-scale Solar/BESS infrastructure projects
n
A Bachelor's degree in civil, electrical, or a related engineering discipline with postgraduate qualifications in project management or business viewed favourably
n
A track record of building trusted, long-term relationships with stakeholders through responsiveness, collaboration, and proactive communication
n
The judgement to identify issues early and make effective, high-stakes decisions that balance commercial reality with delivery pressure
n
The ability to work in a flexible business setting + willingness to travel for project milestones and stakeholder engagement requirements
