Job Description
n
Provide clinical leadership, operational oversight, and workforce development across multiple MRI sites within the East Metro Melbourne region
n
Ensure high-quality imaging standards, optimised workflows, safe and compliant practices
n
Support advanced MRI services and continuous improvement initiatives across MRI systems and vendors
n
Drive clinical excellence and support staff training and assessment
n
Standardise MRI practices across sites
n
Report to the MRI Manager and Regional Manager
n
Travel between Vermont Private Hospital, Camberwell, Cheltenham, and Hawthorn-FMIG as required
n

Requirements
n
n
Minimum 5 years' experience in MRI
n
Demonstrated leadership and team development experience
n
Experience managing or supporting multi-site MRI services (desirable)
n
Advanced MRI clinical expertise across multiple systems/platforms
n
Robust understanding of MRI operations, workflow, and quality systems
n
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
n
Multi-vendor MRI experience (Siemens, GE, Philips)
n
Bachelor of Medical Imaging (or equivalent)
n
AHPRA Registration and Radiation Use License
n
SMIRT MRI Accreditation (Level 1 minimum)
n
Ability to work the required rostered hours for this position
n




Ability and willingness to travel between sites within the region
n
