WorkPac is currently seeking a Workshop Assistant to join a leading heavy industrial workshop in Singleton. This is a fantastic chance for someone with workshop or manufacturing experience looking to secure ongoing work in a supportive team workplace.
n
What You Will Be Doing
n
As a Workshop Assistant, you will provide hands‐on support to qualified tradespeople repairing and overhauling heavy‐duty radiators and cooling components used throughout the mining and heavy industrial sectors.
n
Your duties will include:
n
n
Assisting Radiator Repairers and Fitters with workshop activities.
n
Disassembling and preparing components for inspection.
n
Cleaning, washing and preparing radiators and cooling equipment.
n
Assisting with general workshop duties and material handling.
n
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment.
n
n
What You Will Need
n
n
Previous workshop, manufacturing, mechanical or heavy industrial experience.
n
Experience assisting trades or working in a hands‐on workshop environment.
n
Strong commitment to workplace safety.
n




Ability to perform physically demanding work.
n
n
Desirable:
n
n
LF Forklift Licence.
n
n
