About Puckapunyal Health Centre
n
Puckupanyal Military Area is located approximately 13km west of Seymour. This was first used as a mobilisation and training area during WWI and by ****, and was formally established in the early ****'s. It is home to the Headquarters of the Combined Arms Training Centre, Army Knowledge Centre and Schools of Artillery & Transport. The health centre services up to **** Defence members and provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, physiotherapy, dental, pharmaceutical and mental health. There is a 12 bed low dependency ward which operates 24/7. The standard operating hours are 07:*******:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).

This role is primarily Monday to Friday (day shift) within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

What you'll do
n

Deliver high-quality mental health care to Defence members
n
Conductingfitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care.
n
Undertaking assessments, interventions, formulating treatment and care plans for individuals and group education sessions
n
Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environmentwhere patientwellness is paramount
n

What you bring
n
n
Unrestricted AHPRA general registration as a Psychologist
n
Minimum two years' Post Graduate experience within last five yearsin mental health within a Primary Healthcare Setting or Specialist Mental Health Setting
n
Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in 'Focussed Psychological Strategies' and 'Psychological Therapy' as per Medicare Schedule
n
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
n
Australian Citizenshiprequiredfor Baseline Security Clearance
n
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
