Job Position: Landscape Gardener (ANZSCO ******) Location: Greater Western Sydney (multi-site).
Head office: 8 Anson St, Nirimba Fields NSW ****.
The successful applicant will be required to work across Builtron Homes project sites throughout Greater Western Sydney and wider NSW as required by project schedules, so daily travel between sites is a requirement of the role.

About the Position Builtron Homes has historically engaged external subcontractors to carry out landscaping works before and after construction.
As our project pipeline has grown, we have made the decision to bring this function in- house.
We are therefore seeking to appoint an experienced Landscape Gardener directly to our team.
This is a genuine, ongoing, full time in-house position.
The successful applicant will take end-to-end responsibility for the landscaping component of our residential projects, planning and designing garden landscapes, preparing sites prior to construction, and constructing hardscape and softscape landscapes and irrigation systems following construction and prior to client handover.
The role requires the planning, design and technical judgement expected of a qualified trade-level landscape gardener, not general grounds maintenance.
Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: • Planning and designing garden landscapes for our new home, duplex, granny flat and knockdown rebuild projects, preparing landscape plans and specifications and selecting materials and plant species to suit each site.
• Preparing sites before construction, clearing vegetation, protecting retained trees, and setting out levels and drainage falls.
• Building hardscape features: retaining walls, paving, pathways, fencing, decking, pergolas and water features.
• Establishing softscape: soil preparation, garden beds, planting trees and shrubs, and laying turf.
• Designing, installing, testing and repairing irrigation systems, including pumps, controllers, valves and drip lines.
• Working from architectural, civil and landscape plans, and delivering to DA/CDC conditions and council landscape requirements.
• Estimating materials and labour, ordering supplies, and keeping landscaping works to budget and programme.
• Operating and maintaining landscaping plant and equipment, including mini excavators, skid steers, compactors and turf cutters.
• Coordinating with site supervisors, trades, suppliers and clients, and completing final presentation and defect rectification before handover.
• Working safely and in line with Builtron Homes #39; WHS policies, SWMS and NSW work health and safety legislation.
Qualifications and Requirements • An AQF Certificate III in Landscape Construction, Horticulture or OR an AQF Certificate IV in a related discipline • A minimum of two (2) years #39; full-time paid experience as a Landscape Gardener or in a directly related role.
• Hands-on capability across both hardscape (walls, paving, decking, structures) and softscape (soil preparation, planting, turfing), plus irrigation design, installation and repair.
• The ability to read and work from landscape plans, site plans, level surveys and specifications.
• A current Australian driver #39;s licence and the ability to travel between project sites across Greater Western Sydney and NSW daily.
Access to a reliable vehicle is required.
• A current SafeWork NSW White Card, or the ability to obtain one before commencement.
• Sound English communication skills, physical fitness for sustained outdoor work, and valid Australian work rights.
• Well regarded (but not essential): residential construction experience, skid steer/excavator or EWP tickets, ChemCert, and experience preparing quotes and take-offs.
