Alofa Care Services is seeking a caring, experienced and reliable female disability support worker for consistent work across the Dromana and Rye areas.

Due to the personal-care requirements of the role and the participant’s preference, a female support worker is required. The participant would ideally like someone in their late twenties to mid-thirties who can relate to them and build a genuine, long-term connection.

The role includes:
Personal care, continence support and toileting
Supporting non-verbal communication and the use of communication devices
Assistance with daily living and building independence
Community access and social activities
Supporting sensory needs while out in the community
Swimming and other recreational activities

The role will begin with shadow shifts and participant-specific training. Thursday availability is required initially, with the possibility of additional shifts for the right person.





To be suitable, you must have:
Experience supporting non-verbal participants
Experience with personal care, continence support and toileting
A patient, caring and respectful approach
Solid communication and relationship-building skills
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current First Aid and CPR
Relevant disability qualification or experience
Current driver’s licence and a reliable, insured vehicle
Availability for consistent Thursday shifts
