We are looking for a friendly, reliable and customer focused person to work in a newsagency. The role involves serving customers, handling cash and FTPOS transactions, maintaning stock and keeping the store clean and organised.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
Process cash, EFTPOS and other transactions accurately.
Sell newspapers, magazines, stationary, cards, lottery products and other retail items.
Receive,check. display and replenish stock.
Maintain, clean, tidy and well presented shelves and displays.
Assist with opening and closing the store.
Handle customer enquires and resolve basic issues professionally.
Follow store procedure for cash handling, stock control and security.
Work effectively as part of a team.

Skills and Requirements
Positive communicaton and customer service skils.
Reliable, punctual and responsible.
Basic numeracy and cash handling skills.
Ability to work independent;y ans as part of a team.
Positive attention to detail.
Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage
Availability to work weekends or early mornings may be required.

Pay: From $27.81 per hour
