About the role
n
You will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals and snacks for approximately 63 children each day, while managing allergies, dietary requirements, food safety, ordering and the day-to-day organisation of the kitchen.
n

No nights or weekends

We are looking for someone who:
n
n
Has previous experience working as a cook or chef, ideally within an early childhood or similar setting
n
Understands food allergies, intolerances and special dietary requirements
n




Can confidently prepare meals in bulk
n
Has strong food safety and hygiene practices
n
Is organised and able to independently manage a busy kitchen
n
Can plan menus, order stock and manage food supplies
n
Enjoys being part of a warm and cooperative workplace
n
Understands the importance of providing nutritious and enjoyable food for young children
n

Our previous Centre Cook remained with us for many years, and we are looking for someone who would like to make the kitchen their own and become a valued, long-term member of our Centre community.
