Canex has an opportunity for 10 x Casual Agricultural Technicians in Hughenden and surrounding regions, Central Queensland.

The roles can vary and you could be tasked with :
n
n
Support processing tasks
n
Loading and unloading materials and equipment
n
General site clean-up and housekeeping
n
Operation of basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
n
Assisting trades and machinery operators as directed
n
Maintain hygiene, quality, and safety standards at all times
n
Assisting trades and machinery operators as directed
n
Compliance with all WHS requirements and site safety protocols
n
Carrying out any other labouring duties as directed by supervisor.
n
n
For this exciting role you must have a valuable level of physical fitness, as you are often on your feet , lifting and active for the majority of your shift.

Ready and able to work long shifts (10 hours a day)

Be flexible in your approach to work

n
Be neat in tidy
n
Be able to work alone or part of a team.
n
All training will be provided.
n
n
You will be required to work on average 30 hours per week.
n




The term of work will be from September, **** to September, ****
n
You will be paid either under the Pastoral Award **** [MA******], the Horticultural Award [MA******] and Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award **** [MA******].
n
n
The work will range in pay from an ordinary rate of Levels 1 to 9+ = $*****/hr up to $43+/hr
n
Working hours will vary from anywhere from 6am to 11pm, 7 days per week.
n
Overtime rates will be paid where applicable
n
Upskilling & additional allowances may also be paid if you were trained in extra tasks.
n
n
