n Warrnambool Library is seeking a friendly, flexible, and community-minded individual to join our team as a Casual Customer and Community Services Library Officer.

In this dynamic role, you will:

Deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring every visitor enjoys a positive library experience
n
Support our community's learning and literacy by assisting customers with library resources, services, and technology
n
Contribute to the delivery of engaging programs that promote literacy, lifelong learning, and social connection
n
Perform core library duties, including customer service, lending, membership support, and program facilitation
n
Assist with collection shelving and maintenance to ensure a welcoming and accessible library environment
n
Play an active role in a forward-thinking, innovative library service that builds community capacity and connection
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who is:

Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills
n




Comfortable with technology and passionate about helping others learn
n
A team-oriented team player who can also work independently
n
Flexible and adaptable in a casual, on-call role
n

The Benefits

This is a casual position.
n The current hourly rate is $***** per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading).
