What you will be doing
n

Managing your own file load across property settlements, parenting matters and divorce
n
Advising clients on consent orders, de facto disputes and financial disclosure
n
Drafting affidavits, applications and correspondence that stand up in court
n
Attending mediations, settlement conferences and court alongside senior practitionersBuilding the client relationships that become referrals and repeat work
n

What you will bring

Admission to practice in Queensland with a current practising certificate
n
1+ year post-admission experience, with some exposure to family law
n
Sharp drafting and transparent, human communication
n
Empathy and resilience, because family law clients are people first
n
