This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established Australian organisation within the lift and accessibility sector.
Whether you already have experience in lift technology or you're looking to transfer your electrical or mechanical skills into a specialised industry, full training will be provided .
You'll work across the installation, servicing and repair of a diverse range of lift and accessibility systems in residential and commercial environments.
The role offers stable, full-time hours of 7:30am – 4:15pm, one RDO per calendar month, optional overtime and genuine long-term career progression .
Key Responsibilities Install, service and repair platform lifts, stair-lifts and accessibility equipment Diagnose and fault-find electrical and mechanical control systems Review and interpret technical plans, drawings and specifications Test, commission and check PLCs and motor control systems Align mechanical components and integrate with electrical switches Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality expectations Provide qualified, customer-focused service on site What We're Looking For We're open to candidates with a range of trade backgrounds.
If you're an electrician, mechanic or tradesperson with strong mechanical or electrical aptitude and are keen to learn, we want to hear from you.
You'll ideally have: An electrical or mechanical trade qualification A current electrical licence is preferred Experience with PLCs,
motor control systems or electrical/mechanical fault-finding is highly regarded Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills Good mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service skills A robust commitment to safety and quality No previous lift industry experience?
No problem.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided to the right candidate.
