Brellah is expanding its cutting-edge healthcare model with a dedicated Weight Loss Clinic. We are seeking a passionate clinician to lead this service, helping patients achieve healthier lives through evidence-based, personalised care.

Your role
n
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate General Physician to join our team and lead the launch of the Brellah Weight Loss Clinic.
n
The clinic will include the introduction of the Allurion Gastric Balloon — a safe, non-invasive, outpatient weight loss procedure that requires no surgery, endoscopy, or anaesthesia.
n
You will work with an extraordinary team of highly qualified clinicians and allied health professionals, and will play a pivotal role in delivering personalised care and long‐term support to patients on their weight loss journey.
n
Responsibilities
n
n
Assess patient eligibility for the weight loss program and devices
n
Conduct initial assessments (medical history, metabolic risks, GLP-1 suitability)
n
Perform placement of the gastric balloon and confirm position via X-ray guidance
n
Explain risks and provide sensitive education about the Allurion programme
n
Provide follow‐up consultations and closely monitor patient progress post‐placement
n
Support patients in developing evidence‐based, individualised care plans for long‐term change
n
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (Practice Nurse,



Gastroenterologists, Dietitians, Admin)
n
Initiate and monitor GLP-1 therapy with structured follow‐ups and safety protocols
n
Develop personalised care plans with dietitians, EPs, and psychologists
n
Use data to drive continuous quality improvement
n
Communicate effectively with referring GPs and specialists
n
n
We will provide full training in Allurion. Once trained, you will take ownership of the program—guiding patients from the least invasive options through to the Allurion balloon, a quick and non‐invasive procedure.
