Serve as the primary IT contact and trusted technology partner for the Australian team
n
Translate Australian business priorities into technology requirements, solution options, and delivery priorities
n
Identify technology-driven opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, compliance, and customer experience
n
Build relationships with Australian stakeholders, senior leadership, global BizTX teams, and regional transformation partners
n
Lead day-to-day IT operations and ensure availability and performance of business applications and end-user services
n
Manage incidents, escalations, root-cause analysis, and service improvements
n
Coordinate with global teams, vendors, outsourced support teams, and the APAC Transformation Director
n
Perform business analysis and requirement gathering
n
Design and implement local technology solutions
n
Support applications, reporting, integrations, data analytics, and business systems
n
Develop prototypes, dashboards, reports, and automation solutions
n
Troubleshoot complex business and system issues
n
Lead end-to-end local IT and digital transformation projects
n
Define project scope, budget, timelines, risks, and success measures
n
Drive project execution and benefit realisation
n
Coordinate testing, training, and change management
n
Develop and manage the annual local IT budget
n
Evaluate and negotiate with technology vendors
n
Ensure cost-effective procurement and utilisation of IT resources
n
Monitor project and operational spending
n
Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies and security standards
n
Manage technology risks and business continuity planning
n
Support audits and regulatory requirements
n
Lead, manage, coach,



and develop the local IT team and external partners
n
Set priorities, expectations, and ways of working
n
Provide day-to-day leadership, performance guidance, and prioritisation support
n
Foster accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
n
Remain actively involved in detailed execution when required

Requirements
n
n
Solid communication, stakeholder management, relationship-building, and people leadership skills
n
Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing an IT or technology team, including managing priorities, performance, and service delivery outcomes
n
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer science, or related fields
n
8–12+ years of IT experience
n
Strong background in ERP, Data & Analytics including PowerBI, System Integration, and Project Management
n
Strong technical skills in System Integrations, Database Management, Data Warehouse and Data Analytics, mainly Microsoft SQL
n
Capable of operating at both strategic and operational levels, with a willingness to work on detailed tasks when required
n
Ability to engage directly with users to diagnose detailed business issues, gather requirements, and shape practical technology solutions
n
Willingness to occasionally work outside standard Australian business hours where required to support regional and global collaboration
n




Experience working in a multi-country, regional, or global technology environment
n
Exposure to SAP or major ERP transformation programs
n
Experience with Power Platform, automation, or low-code tools
n
Experience supporting business change management, adoption, and training for technology solutions
n
