Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Counsel/ Senior Legal Counsel to embed yourself in a fast-paced business environment where your legal expertise will directly support strategic initiatives, operational excellence and a strong governance culture.

Reporting to the General Counsel, you'll play a key role in partnering with senior stakeholders and external advisers across a wide variety of corporate and commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting strategic mergers and acquisitions (M&A;), including legal advice and support for M&A; transactions.
n
Offering regulatory advice and aiding in the implementation of compliance initiatives.
n
Providing company secretarial and corporate governance support.
n
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial contracts that underpin key business operations and partnerships.
n
Advising on consumer, privacy, data,



employment and general corporate matters with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
n
Managing external legal advisers to secure cost-effective, timely support on specialised matters.
n

About You:
n
n
Admitted as a lawyer in Australia with 5+ years' post-qualification experience in corporate or commercial law, ideally gained at a top-tier or mid-tier law firm and/or in-house.
n
Solid grounding in contract negotiation and managing diverse commercial matters.
n
Experience advising on regulatory, compliance and governance issues.
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
n
Organised, resilient and comfortable working in a energetic, evolving environment.
