We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Hospitality Manager to lead our front‐of‐house operations and help drive the continued success of our venue.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Team Leadership & Venue Operations
n
n
Manage the day‐to‐day operations of the venue, including the restaurant, bars, and function spaces.
n
Lead, supervise and motivate a team of 10+ hospitality employees, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient daily operations.
n
Coordinate staff rosters, monitor performance, provide coaching and assist with recruitment and training.
n
Ensure all shifts operate efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
n
n
Operational & Business Management
n
n
Manage labour costs, wages, stock control, purchasing and inventory.
n
Monitor daily trading performance and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
n




Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, food safety, WHS legislation and company policies.
n
Maintain venue presentation, cleanliness and operational standards.
n
n
Customer Experience
n
n
Deliver exceptional customer service and promptly resolve customer enquiries and complaints.
n
Oversee reservations, group bookings and daily service operations.
n
Ensure food and beverage service consistently meets The Exchange Hotel's quality standards.
n
n
Functions & Events
n
n
Coordinate the successful delivery of private functions and special occasions.
n
Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure events are delivered professionally and exceed customer expectations.
n
Support the operation of major entertainment events including live music, DJs and promotional nights.
n
n
Marketing & Business Development
n
n
Assist in implementing venue promotions, seasonal campaigns and special events.
n
Support initiatives that increase customer engagement, repeat visitation and venue revenue.
n
n
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have:
n
n
At least 1 year of experience in a Hospitality Manger, Hotel Manager, Venue Manager, Operations Manager or similar management role.
n
Solid leadership experience within a hotel, restaurant, bar or large hospitality venue.
n
Demonstrated experience managing staff, rostering, stock control, purchasing, budgets and daily venue operations.
n
Experience coordinating functions, events or entertainment venues.
n
Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills.
n
Strong problem‐solving ability and the capacity to perform under pressure.
n
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating outstanding customer experiences.
