We design, engineer, manufacture, and assemble a diverse range of underground coal diesel equipment, including Personnel Transporters, Graders, Underground Dozers, and Longwall Chock Carriers.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Trade Assistant to join our Team, supporting workshop activities across new build and refurbishment projects for underground mining equipment. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with experienced tradespeople and supervisors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is an excellent chance for someone looking to build their career in a mining or heavy industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
Assist tradespeople with fitting, assembly, and repair tasks
Prepare tools, parts,



and equipment for scheduled work
Perform general labouring duties including grinding, cleaning and painting
Support manual handling and movement of components
Participate in safety processes, including hazard reporting and risk assessments
Maintain a clean and hazard-free work setting

What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a workshop or trade environment
Strong commitment to WHS
Valuable communication and teamwork skills
Drivers license
Current HR License - Fork Truck
Experience working around heavy industrial or mining equipment

Preferred Qualifications
Current HR License - Dogging, Intermediate Rigging
Overhead Crane Competency RIIHAN305D
