Adhoc evening/weekend babysitting/daytime support

Our warm, welcoming, and busy Newtown family is seeking a nurturing, confident, and energetic nanny to care for their two young children: their happy and curious 20-month-old daughter and their son, who is turning 4 shortly.

The role is one full day per week on Thursdays, with the prospect for additional evening babysitting, ad hoc Friday and weekend days/evenings. The family is looking for someone who can become a trusted and valued part of their family.

Mum and Dad are both business owners with an office close by and often work from home, but they give their nanny full autonomy. They’re looking for someone who is proactive, confident, organised, and able to take initiative throughout the day.

On Thursdays, you’ll care for the 20-month-old throughout the day while also taking their 4-year-old to daycare in the morning and collecting him in the afternoon. The children enjoy music, dancing, reading, outdoor adventures, creative play and age-appropriate activities,



with the family encouraging a screen-free lifestyle.

The family’s gentle Labrador is also very much part of the home, so a nanny who is comfortable around dogs would be ideal.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:
• Caring for a 20-month-old throughout the day
• Daycare drop-off and pick-up for the 4-year-old
• Preparing breakfast, lunch and snacks for the children
• Age-appropriate activities, creative play and outdoor outings
• Children’s laundry and light household support
• Light meal preparation
• Adhoc evening/weekend babysitting/daytime support
• Confident and experienced driver with a valid licence
• Solid organisational, time management and communication skills
• Calm, nurturing and engaging approach to childcare

• Minimum 3+ years of nanny/childcare experience
