Position Descriptor:
Leadership in the career development and implementation of self-regulation and trauma informed practices and working closely with leaders, staff, students and families to support consistency and continuity of embedded agreed practices.
Effectively supports Mainstream, IELP students and at-risk students, including supporting the development of the learning plans and alternate learning programs and their transition into and from school.
Supports the management of exiting IELP students and student transition to secondary school.
Provide instructional leadership in curriculum development and teacher pedagogies to improve learning outcomes for all students, with a particular focus on Aboriginal students, and at the same time embedding Aboriginal Perspectives into school culture and practices.
Shared responsibility of behaviour management and implementation of the SEE for students in Years F-6 in collaboration with other leaders and case management of students at risk
