Junior Production Manager – Southside Sign Service

We’re looking for a motivated Junior Production Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on workshop experience who’s looking to move off the tools and step into a production‑focused coordination and sales role. You’ll assist with scheduling, job management, fabrication oversight, quoting, and ensuring projects move smoothly from approval through to installation.

What you’ll be doing:
Supporting day‑to‑day production planning and workflow
Coordinating with fabricators, installers, and suppliers
Preparing quotes and assisting with sales enquiries
Liaising with customers to confirm job details, timelines, and approvals
Checking job specs, materials, and quality standards
Helping maintain timelines and cost‑effective outcomes
Communicating with clients and internal teams
Using CorelDRAW, SignLab,



and Trello to manage artwork, production tasks, and workflow tracking

What we’re looking for:
Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
A hands‑on, practical mindset
Someone transitioning from a workshop or fabrication role and wanting to grow into production management
Confidence in customer communication, quoting, and basic sales support
Ability to work in a rapid‑paced workshop workplace
Great communication and problem‑solving skills
Experience with CorelDRAW, SignLab, and Trello (or similar software)
Experience in signage, fabrication, or similar industries is a bonus
