The business is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Business Machine Mechanic to undertake the testing, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of coffee machines and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities Examining and testing coffee machines, equipment and associated control systems to identify and diagnose faults.
Diagnosing electrical, electronic and mechanical faults in machines and related equipment.
Adjusting, repairing and replacing worn or defective components, parts and wiring.
Disassembling equipment as required to inspect, repair or replace defective components.
Reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment following repairs and maintenance.
Installing, testing and adjusting electrical and electronic components and control systems associated with coffee machines.
Carrying out routine and preventative maintenance on machines and related equipment.
Applying electrical, electronic and mechanical principles when diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment.
Testing repaired equipment to confirm correct operation.
Advising customers on correct equipment operating procedures to help prevent malfunctions.
Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment and work areas.
About You At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Business Machine Mechanic or in a closely related technical role.
Sound knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.
Experience in diagnosing faults and repairing machines and equipment.
Ability to disassemble, repair, reassemble, test and adjust equipment.
Strong technical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Ability to use appropriate testing instruments and tools.
