Position Details Job Title: Web Designer Location: East Arm (Darwin), Northern Territory **** Employment Type: Full time permanent Salary: AUD $83,000 – $88,000 per annum, plus superannuation Working Hours: 38 hours per week About the Role This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented Web Designer to join a Northern Territory based property development and construction business.
Rusca Developments Pty Ltd manages residential and commercial development projects and requires a dedicated Web Designer to maintain and enhance its digital presence, including its corporate website, project marketing pages and online promotional material supporting its development portfolio.
Key Responsibilities Consult with company management and internal stakeholders to determine the objectives, scope and constraints of each web design brief.
Undertake research and analyse the functional communication needs of the business, including how project listings, promotional material and corporate information are best presented online.
Formulate design concepts for the company website and digital assets, ensuring alignment with the company's branding and market positioning.
Prepare sketches, wireframes, site maps and layouts to communicate proposed design concepts to management prior to development.
Negotiate and finalise design solutions with management and any external production or development staff involved in the website build.
Select and specify appropriate visual and functional materials, including colours, fonts, imagery and layout structures, to support publication and display of the company's web content.
Design and maintain web pages,



user interfaces and layouts across the company website, ensuring ease of navigation and clear presentation of project and company information.
Create graphics and digital assets for the website and supporting digital assets, including occasional adaptation of web assets for print marketing material.
Work within the company's content management system to update, maintain and publish web content on an ongoing basis.
Prepare and publish web content combining text, imagery, animation, sound and data sources, ensuring information is structured and tailored to the intended audience and purpose.
Document finalised designs and specifications for production, and oversee or carry out implementation in the chosen media.
Ensure website responsiveness, accessibility and cross device compatibility in line with current web design standards.
Archive design files and digital assets for future reference and reuse across marketing and development projects.
Skills and Qualifications Required Bachelor degree or higher in web design, digital media, visual communication, computer science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Demonstrated relevant experience of at least 3 years in a web design role at an appropriate skill level Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining websites, including work with content management systems Strong skills in wireframing, site mapping and communicating design concepts through sketches and layouts Sound understanding of branding, visual design principles and user experience best practice Ability to liaise effectively with management and stakeholders to translate business requirements into design outcomes High level of attention to detail and ability to manage design projects from concept through to publication Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
