Kollab Recruitment Group is hiring FIFO Chefs right for mining camps Queensland. If you’ve worked a busy camp kitchen and know how to turn out quality food at volume, we want to hear from you.
We’re ramping up across multiple QLD sites with swings available immediately.
This is an experienced-only role. We need a minimum of 6 months verifiable Australian mine-site kitchen experience.
What you’ll be doing
Working in the kitchen of a mining village dining facility, cooking at volume
Food safety compliance and day-to-day kitchen management
Casual shifts, swing lengths vary by site
FIFO from major airport hubs
DIDO options available to some sites
Working alongside experienced, well-run site teams
What you need
Minimum 6 months verifiable Australian mine-site chef experience
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (recognised overseas qualifications count)
Two verifiable references from a previous head chef, supervisor or site manager
QLD driver’s licence
Current National Police Check, or ready to get one straight away
Able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
Right to work in Australia
Ready to mobilise within 2 weeks of accepting an offer
