About the Position:

The Software Engineer role is responsible for researching requirements, designing, developing, testing and maintaining software applications that support client solutions. This position plays a key part in delivering reliable, high-quality software, identifying improvements, managing testing and deployment processes, and working closely with technical teams and clients to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Research, analyse and evaluate software and system requirements.
Design, develop and maintain software applications and program code.




Identify system limitations and recommend improvements.
Test, debug, diagnose and correct software errors and faults.
Develop and maintain technical and operational documentation.
Manage software testing and assist with deployment automation.
Collect and analyse operational metrics.
Contribute to continuous improvement and continuous delivery processes.
Identify and mitigate software performance and security risks.
Work with technical teams and clients to deliver software solutions.

Requirements:
Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related discipline preferred.
1–2 years’ relevant experience in software development or software engineering.
Knowledge of software development, programming and testing practices.
Robust analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
