Are you a Registered Nurse (with at least three years post grad) looking to build a career in practice nursing?
We are a busy medical centre with 8 fulltime GPs and 4 nurses at present.
The position will start as casual 4 days per week. You will need to be versatile with days/times (Mon-Fri), with permanency offered once suitability is confirmed. We offer above award rates depending on skill levels.
If you are an enthusiastic, honest, reliable team player willing to work independently or alongside other RNs, and possess the following skills/knowledge (preferred but not essential):
Excellent time management skills
Wound care
Immunisation
Setting up for minor procedures
ECG, Spirometry, Audiometry
Iron infusions and venesections
Recall/reminder systems
Phone Triage
Vaccine and cold chain management
This position is for you.
Your role will be guided by the senior practice nurse and practice manager.
