Driving a concrete agitator truck for Heidelberg Materials Australia is more than just going from A to B.

What's the Job Like?
n
Location: You'll be based out of the Byron Bay Concrete Plant on the northern NSW coast .
n
Hours: This is a full-time position, and most rostered days will start between 4am and 6am.
n
Pay: We pay a base hourly rate of $***** on a weekly pay cycle. OT is generally paid after 8 hours at time and a half and double time and a meal allowance once you go over 10 hours in a day.
n
Customer Interaction: Driving an Agi is like being a Customer Service Agent on wheels. You'll meet lots of different personalities every day, so being comfortable with new people is a must.
n
Technology: We provide cutting-edge technology to keep you safe, help you map your routes, and track your loads.
n
Training: All new hires go through a 10-day training program with our experienced driver trainers before hitting the road solo.
n
About You:
n
n
License: You must have a minimum of an HR license (essential) with previous HR driving experience (preferred).
n
White Card: You will have a current valid Construction White Card, or be willing to obtain one before you start.
n
People Skills: You enjoy meeting people and having a chat when you're onsite.
n
Variety: You prefer variety in your work. No two days are the same when you're driving one of our Agi trucks.
n
Pride in Your Ride: You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keeping it clean and presentable is important-you are a mobile billboard for our company.
n
Medical Check: Able to pass a pre-employment medical,



including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Heidelberg sites).
n
Safety: Some of our trucks have driver weight limits on their seats and seatbelts. For safety reasons, you may need to be under a specified weight for these trucks.
n

Base hourly rate of $***** per hour + penalties, allowances & super, paid weekly.

Monthly RDO accrual, with options to use them your way.

Minimum 10-day Agi Driver training program and buddy support.
