YARD HAND & TRANSPORT OPERATOR

n We're looking for a reliable and safety-focused Yard Hand & Transport Operator to join our team in the Banyo/Nudgee area.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring accurate paperwork and efficient turnaround.
n
Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials around the yard.
n
Assist with truck movements and maintain safe site traffic flow.
n
Prepare and assemble waste bins and operational equipment.
n
Conduct site inspections and safety checks using a utility vehicle.
n
Keep the yard clean, organised and safe.
n
Carry out street sweeping and external site cleaning as required.
n
Support airport servicing operations while complying with strict security and safety requirements.
n
Run errands and provide general operational support to the Site Supervisor.
n
Follow company policies, safety standards and environmental requirements.
n

$***** per hour + Super + Overtime Penalty Rates

Monday–Friday | 6:00am–3:00pm
n Home every night
n Paid weekly
n Genuine prospect to transition into a permanent position

What You'll Need
n
n
Current HR Driver's Licence with experience around trucks, including loading/unloading and site traffic coordination.
n
Forklift Licence.
n
Previous experience in yard hand, labouring, waste management, logistics, transport or recycling environments.
n
Proven forklift experience in a fast-paced or industrial setting.
n
Experience using basic hand tools and equipment.
n
Police Clearance.
n
Ability to provide a Driver History Report.
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening.
n
Strong communication skills and a safety-first attitude.
n
ASIC for airport servicing duties.
n
Full working rights in Australia with no restrictions.
n
Live within approximately 30 minutes of Banyo/Nudgee.
n
