We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated PM Operations Supervisor to join our Adelaide team based at our Gillman Depot.
n
About the Role
n
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supervising our PM Operations team, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of freight while maintaining service standards and operational KPIs.
n
This hands-on leadership role oversees all aspects of afternoon and evening depot operations, including:
n
n
Supervising PM shift operations
n
Coordinating linehaul departures and arrivals
n
Managing warehouse and freight handling activities
n
Ensuring freight is loaded safely and in accordance with Load Restraint Guidelines
n
Leading and motivating warehouse and operational staff
n
Monitoring operational performance and site KPIs
n
Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with company policies
n
Managing operational issues and implementing effective solutions
n
Liaising with customers, drivers and internal departments to ensure efficient freight movement
n




Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the depot
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
n
n
3-5 years' experience in a transport and logistics supervisory role
n
Previous experience within an Express or General Freight environment
n
Current High Risk Forklift Licence
n
Strong linehaul loading and freight handling experience
n
Sound understanding of Load Restraint requirements
n
Excellent leadership and people management skills
n
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
n
High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
n
Commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Ability to achieve operational KPIs and performance targets
n
