About the role
n
The Adjudication Officer is responsible for assessing and determining the suitability of applicants to hold or continue to hold a firearms or weapons licence, permit or authority. This includes conducting probity assessments and applying legislation to ensure decisions are made in line with relevant guidelines, policy and legislative requirements.
n
This position is in Kingscliff, Northern NSW. The position carries flexible rostering and opportunities for training and career development.
n
This Talent Pool is being created for future Ongoing or Temporary roles that may arise over the next 18months.
n
Placement in the Talent Pool remains valid for 18months.There is no guarantee of employment as a result of this Talent Pool.

To be eligible for ongoing roles, you must meet one of the following statuses:

a permanent resident of Australia; or
n
a New Zealand citizen.

Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check and obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.
n
Total Remuneration Package: Base salary ranges from $87,199 to $95,482 plus employer's contribution to superannuation of 12% and annual leave loading.
n
