We a re hiring experienced Product Support Advisors on a FIFO basis across Newman, Paraburdoo, Gudai Darri and other regional client locations.
n

What You'll Do
n
n
The PSA acts as the primary link between the customer, Caterpillar, and WesTrac , ensuring accurate information flow, consistent documentation, and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Focuses on strengthening preventative maintenance strategies, enhancing equipment effectiveness, and identifying opportunities to reduce overall operating costs.
n
Diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of Caterpillar fleet
n
Conduct regular equipment inspections, ensuring safety and compliance
n
Provide warranty support and planned component change‐outs
n
Driving continuous improvement initiatives across customer operations
n
Support frontline maintenance teams with expert advice and minimal tool time
n

Your Location Options

Newman (Yandi)
n
n
Located 120 km north‐west of Newman in WA's Pilbara region
n
Supporting a new CAT fleet in a high‐tech workshop
n
Roster: 8 days on/6 days off – 12 hr shifts
n
Short commute to camp accommodation
n
n
Product Support Team (PSG)
n
n
Regions: Goldfields/Pilbara - FIFO from Perth
n
Rosters Available: 4 days on/3 off OR 8 days on/6 off OR 14 days on/7 off -12.5 hrs/day (incl. 30 min break)
n




Approximately 60% advisory and 40% hands ‐ on tooling (subject to customer requirements)
n
Supporting customers with diagnostics, fault ‐ finding , and equipment optimisation.
n
Site Support Vehicle: Provided for certain locations depending on site requirements
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
Australian-recognisedMobile Plant Trade Certificate
n
Previous field service or mine‐site experienceon large CAT fleets
n
Strongdiagnostic, troubleshooting, and advisory skills
n
Willingness to support training, inspections, and hands‐on work when needed
n
High‐risk work licences (Forklift, EWP, Dogging & Rigging, Working at Heights)
n
Strong communication andcustomer relationship‐buildingskills
n
