The Roles
n
Working closely with the Maintenance Manager and Production teams, you'll be responsible for keeping plant and equipment operating safely and efficiently through preventative maintenance, breakdown response and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Preventative and breakdown maintenance across manufacturing equipment
n
Fault finding, diagnostics and mechanical repairs
n
Maintaining conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics and pneumatics
n
Supporting production to minimise downtime and maximise equipment reliability
n
Contributing to safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives
n




Working within a collaborative maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
n
n
Both Day and Afternoon Shift opportunities are available.
n
Afternoon Shift attracts an additional 15% shift loading, the site offering regular overtime paid at penalty rates (1.5x-2x).
n
About You
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner or equivalent (essential)
n
Experience as a Maintenance Fitter within a manufacturing, production or industrial setting
n
Strong mechanical fault-finding and breakdown maintenance experience
n
A proactive, reliable and safety-first approach
n
Full Australian working rights
n
Ability to commence immediately or within short notice
n
