An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Finance Manager to join a well-established organisation and play a key role in driving financial sustainability, compliance, and operational excellence. It is a permanent opportunity, based at Emerald.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Oversee all financial accounting activities, including month-end and year-end processes
n
Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Financial Accounting functions
n
Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
n
Prepare financial reports for Executive Leadership, Board and Committee meetings
n
Coordinate annual audits and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory
requirementsDevelop
and enhance financial policies, procedures and internal controls
n
n




To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
CPA, CA or equivalent qualified accounting qualification
n
Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
n
Demonstrated experience in a senior finance leadership position
n
Strong knowledge of financial management, reporting, budgeting and compliance requirements
n
Experience managing audits and preparing statutory financial statements
n
Experience within government, not-for-profit or community-focused organisations - must have
