TREKKA is a growing construction company delivering remote accommodation, non-process infrastructure, civil works, utilities and maintenance projects to the mining and resources sector.
n
We are seeking a practical and commercially minded Estimator / Scheduler, for a newly created roll, to prepare accurate estimates, coordinate tenders and develop realistic construction programmes. Working closely with the project team, you will support projects from initial enquiry through to handover.
n
Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts to define project scope and resources.
n
Prepare accurate cost estimates for mining and civil construction projects, including labour, plant, materials, and subcontractor inputs.
n
Scheduling and Coordination
n
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using appropriate scheduling tools.
n
Update project schedules based on site progress and operational changes.
n
Collaborate with project managers, engineers,



and procurement teams to ensure cost‐effective and timely delivery.
n
Supplier and Subcontractor Engagement
n
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to confirm pricing and delivery timeframes.
n
Assist in procurement and negotiation to achieve competitive pricing and reliable delivery.
n
Main requirements
n
Proven experience as an Estimator and/or Scheduler in mining or remote construction.
n
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies across civil, general building, and electrical scopes.
n
Competence in Microsoft Excel and estimating or scheduling software; Buildxact and Microsoft Project experience is advantageous.
n
Robust communication, planning, and analytical skills.
n
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high‐performance team.
n
Familiarity with WA mining regulations and remote logistics.
n
