Estimator – Mid to Senior (Multiple Roles)
We're currently recruiting for multiple Mid to Senior level Estimators for a leading tier-one construction and infrastructure contractor specializing in large-scale building projects, complex facilities, and multidisciplinary infrastructure works.
Based in Sydney, these are 3-4 month (negotiable) contract roles, with potential for extension, working across tenders for Building, Construction, and Services across defence, health, infrastructure, and related industries.
Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for building or services scope
Conduct quantity take-offs and review drawings and specifications
Support development of construction methodologies and pricing strategies
Maintain strong document control throughout the tender lifecycle
Coordinate with project managers, bid teams, engineers and subcontractors
Contribute to risk reviews, analysis and tender approval processes
Assist in developing competitive, compliant and high-quality tender submissions
Lead tender development and guide mid-level estimators (Senior-level)
Skills and Requirements
Qualifications in engineering, construction management, quantity surveying or related discipline (beneficial)
Proven experience in building estimation (structural, architectural and finishes) or services estimation (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire or specialist systems)




Prior experience within infrastructure, building, defence, health, data centres, commercial or related sectors (highly beneficial)
Proficiency in quantity take-off tools or cost estimation software
Robust analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
